About Us

Midnight Electric Blue Band is a NJ-based band offering up a mix of classic and current rock, blues and a few surprising choices.

Deb, Lead Female Vocals & Band Manager

Brings versatile vocals, from subtle to pronounced, with experience in bands and collaborative projects in a variety of genres and media.

Fred, Lead Male Vocals & Lead Guitar

Fabulous Fast Freddie Nelson is a self-taught guitar player from age 14 with extensive experience in professional cover bands such as Sinister Charm, Pretty Baby, Electric Revelation, Sundries, E=MC2, Witches Bru, Liquid Garden, New Jersey’s Most WANTED and Amber Moon. He is also a sound engineer and toured with Twisted Sister and Joan Jett, Tito Puente, Lena Horne, Robert Gordon, Chuck Berry and many others.

Rich, Bass Guitar

Brings the heartbeat to the band.

Experienced bassist with many prominent East Coast bands.

Ed, Drums

Ed Foxxe is a veteran drummer who has worked in the studio with various musical projects in the New York and New Jersey areas through the years, lending his talents to creating, recording and performing original music as well as playing live shows with a number of original and cover bands.

Ed loves all types of music and is very passionate about drumming along to anything with a good feel, but his roots are in classic rock with a progressive spin. His drumming style relies as much on finesse and spacing as it does on drive and dynamics. This is a man who understands that sometimes it’s not just what you play that matters, but what you do not play that counts for even more.
